"Because a disability situation can arise at any time, and will affect 50% of us during our professional lives, the Eurofeu Group is working at its level to adopt a more 'INCLUSIVE' human resources policy.
This strong commitment has led to the development of an employment policy for people with disabilities, ensuring complete EQUITY for its employees.
To make our actions more effective and bring this policy to life, I invite each of our employees to join me in this effort, because it is TOGETHER that we will make Eurofeu a showcase for this ambitious policy, centered around the theme of disability."

And what if we talked about disability? 💬
Today, disability is still seen as heavy, permanent, and difficult to manage: stereotypes remain stubborn!
However, disability is:

- 80% of disabilities are invisible.
- 1 in 2 people will face a disability situation, whether temporary or permanent, during their life.
There are different types of disability:
- Motor disabilities make up 45%
- Invalidating diseases represent 20%
- Sensory disabilities make up 15%
- Mental and cognitive disabilities represent 13%
- Intellectual disabilities account for 7%

Eurofeu is committed to inclusion
José PONTHIEU, an employee, recently shared his journey and the challenges he has faced due to his hearing impairment.
José works as a Traveling Sales Training Representative. Since his childhood, José has struggled with hearing problems caused by untreated ear infections. It was only recently that he started wearing hearing aids to improve both his work life and daily life.
Before being fitted with hearing aids, José faced numerous difficulties in the field due to the noise from machines or even during meetings. Despite these obstacles, he made efforts to adapt.
José has been wearing hearing aids for 2 years now!
Eurofeu was able to adapt José's work environment by providing him with a phone that is compatible with his hearing aids, so the sound is directly transmitted to his earphones.
José emphasizes the importance of taking the step to contact Human Resources to receive the appropriate support for his disability.

École Walt
The Eurofeu Group continues its commitment to supporting people with disabilities by contributing a portion of its apprenticeship tax to the Walt School.
This school specializes in children with neurodiversities, aged 6 to 16. The goal of this institution is to support them throughout their academic journey, providing personalized educational and therapeutic follow-up based on their specific disabilities with the help of a multidisciplinary team that works together to help students "break out of their boxes." The school is equipped with an adaptable and flexible work environment, thanks to sensory and motor spaces dedicated to developing the talents of the students.
